Procurement Assistant – Umhlanga & Amanzimtoti

Our client, a marketing and manufacturing company is looking for a Procurement Assistant. This role involves managing the procurement of packaging materials and components for production.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • BSc or BCom degree
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Placing and tracking orders, expediting shipments, and coordinating materials with third-party logistics
  • Stock Management: Handling out-of-stock situations, tracking supplier delays, and overseeing returns
  • Sourcing and Imports: Assisting with local and import sourcing, maintaining import trackers, and scheduling imports/exports
  • Administrative Tasks: Briefing suppliers on colour matches, preparing POS requirements, and maintaining supplier lists.
