Our client, a marketing and manufacturing company is looking for a Procurement Assistant. This role involves managing the procurement of packaging materials and components for production.
Qualifications & Skills:
- BSc or BCom degree
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Placing and tracking orders, expediting shipments, and coordinating materials with third-party logistics
- Stock Management: Handling out-of-stock situations, tracking supplier delays, and overseeing returns
- Sourcing and Imports: Assisting with local and import sourcing, maintaining import trackers, and scheduling imports/exports
- Administrative Tasks: Briefing suppliers on colour matches, preparing POS requirements, and maintaining supplier lists.
